If you’re a Starbucks fan but wondering how you can order a satisfying, keto friendly Frappuccino during the hot summer months, we’re here to help! It’s so refreshing!

Here’s how to order:

“Tall unsweetened iced coffee with extra ice, 2 pumps of sugar free Cinnamon Dolce syrup, and 2 shots of heavy whipping cream, blended frappuccino-style but with NO frappuccino base and NO frappuccino syrups. If you want to sweeten it further, add a packet or two of Splenda or another sugar alternative you prefer.”

Enjoy! 😋

I want to try it but that’s one of those orders that’s complicated and leaves all the baristas rolling their eyes at you. 😏

      Sarah B,

The Starbucks order-ahead option on their app has been a God send for my complicated orders. Try it. You can do everything on the app from eliminating what you need to leaving a tip without having to interact with the eye-rolling baristas — tho I’m from Seattle. They should be used to it be now 😉

Maybe I could get little cards printed with this on it so 1. I don’t feel like one of those people and 2. They don’t mess it up. 😄

Hi Terri! You could go without any sweetener OR carry Stevia (or erythritol). Some of the ladies on our team carry sweetener drops with them. Hoping those suggestions help!

As the wife, sister, sister-in-law and best friend of former baristas, this order will definitely put a damper a barista’s day!

When I’m paying $5 for a drink they better do it all with a smile or find a different job. Sounds like your family members need attitude adjustments.

My version is simple. Cold brew, light on ice, extra heavy cream. No sugar or sugar substitute is required.

You could also order online and pick up! This will help alleviate the feeling of “being one of those people.” You are paying for a service after all.

I just ordered this. I.said I needed to make my order low carb, and the barista already knew how to make it! 😀

Great question! Coffee is zero carb, zero calorie. Assuming a shot of heavy white cream is 2 Tbsp, you’re looking at maybe 4 carbs and 200 calories. Hoping that might help!

I ran the numbers in MyFitnessPal, and it looks like 19 carbs per 2 Tbsp serving. Hope this helps!

I am a little confused. Don’t artificial sweeteners cause an insulin spike just like regular sugar? Technically the artificial sweeteners keep you in ketosis, but somehow it seems like it would be a bad idea to trick your body this way. All that insulin in your bloodstream looking for something to do…could it cause carb cravings?

Artificial sweeteners are a definite YMMV (your mileage may vary) choice. For some folks, Splenda in the powdered form can spike hunger/cravings, but in the concentrated drops it might not be a problem (without all of the fillers). It really depends on how each user reacts to the sweetener. If there are no issues through use, then people may opt to enjoy artificial sweeteners like sucralose, aspartame, and saccharine in moderation.
