As a child, I can remember my mom making egg salad sandwiches for my sisters and me. Man, could she whip up a mean egg salad sandwich! Hip tips for keto egg salad with bacon and avocado:

  • Be sure to choose a ripe, but not too ripe, avocado. The best way to know if an avocado is good to go? Press your thumb against the avocado. If the avocado gives just slightly against firm gentle pressure, then it’s ripe and ready.
  • Serve this BAE keto egg salad (bacon, avocado, and egg) on a toasted and sliced open-face keto bagel—the combo is divine!

Me too! It sure looks yummy! 😋 Hoping you love it if you decide to give it a try!

  2. Carol

What brand of mayo did you use?

  3. Jo

How long can you keep it refrigerated?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You can refrigerate for about 3 – 4 days, but just know that the avocado may turn a bit brown.

  4. Phyllis

Could you use premade quacamole instead of fresh avocados?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! That can work, however it will change the nutritional values. You’ll also need to double check the ingredients of the guacamole you choose to be sure it is keto. Hope this is helpful! 🤗
