Here’s the Best Keto Yogurt to Buy… And 3 More We Love!
Yes, you can still enjoy yogurt while sticking to your keto diet! We’re sharing the best keto yogurt to buy…
If you’re like us, you’re always looking for quick keto breakfast options and snack ideas. While yogurt is typically a “diet” go-to staple, it’s not as straightforward when it comes to a ketogenic diet. Most brands of store-bought yogurt often contain a ton of added sugar and lots of ingredients that just don’t fit with low-carb living.
How is yogurt made anyway?
Yogurt traditionally is made by adding active/live cultures and friendly bacteria to milk. The cultures then convert the milk sugars aka lactose into lactic acid, which thickens the milk to make tangy yogurt.
We’ve rounded up the 4 best keto yogurts to buy!
Fage Total 5% Plain Greek Yogurt
One of the highest fat options is Fage Total 5% Plain Greek Yogurt, which has 6g of sugar per serving (much lower than most yogurts on the market). It also packs in 10g of fat and a whopping 18g of protein. Fat is an important part of a ketogenic diet, and some of the other low-carb yogurt options (as mentioned below) don’t contain as much fat.
For me, the carbs are a little too high as I try and limit my carb intake to around 20 net carbs per day, but it may be a good fit for you depending on how many carbs you typically consume daily.
FAGE Total 5% Plain Greek Yogurt – Serving Size 7oz | 190 Calories | 10g Fat | 6g Total Carbs | 0g Fiber | 6g Sugar | 18g Protein | 6g Net Carbs
Fage Total 0% Plain Greek Yogurt – Serving Size 6oz | 90 Calories | 0g Fat | 5g Total Carbs | 0g Fiber | 5g Sugar | 18g Protein | 5g Net Carbs
Two Good Greek Yogurt
I personally like Two Good Greek Yogurt cups as they contain about 80% less sugar than most store-bought yogurts and are really good! Two Good Greek Yogurt is made with a unique slow straining process that removes sugar from the milk for an end result of 2g of total sugar in each 5.3oz cup and just 3g of carbs.
To keep things real since we’ve all got different taste buds, Collin and Stetson gave Two Good Yogurt a try and they thought it should be called Too Bad Yogurt and were not fans! 🤣 From Collin – “It’s got a chalky taste with no real flavor and I’m not a fan of the low-fat milk ingredients.”
However, Michelle from our Hip2Keto team loves Two Good Yogurt like me, so it’s a 50/50 split vote. Let us know in the comments if you’ve tried it and what you think.
Two Good Plain Greek Yogurt – Serving Size 5.3oz | 80 Calories | 2g Fat | 3g Total Carbs | 0g Fiber | 2g Sugar | 12g Protein | 3g Net Carbs
Ratio Keto-Friendly Yogurt
Collin and Stetson are currently crushing on Ratio Keto-Friendly Yogurt. It’s one of the newer brands on the market, but let me tell ya, it does not disappoint! Ratio Keto-Friendly Yogurt is available in coconut, black cherry, mango, vanilla, and my favorite, strawberry. I feel like it has a little bit of a thicker consistency than the Two Good Yogurt, and it really is delicious. I like to throw a few ChocZero Chocolate Chips in with mine for a yummy breakfast or dessert treat. Yummo!
Ratio Keto-Friendly Yogurt – Serving Size 5.3oz | 200 Calories | 15g Fat | 2g Total Carbs | 0g Fiber | 1g Sugar | 15g Protein | 2g Net Carbs
Ratio Keto-Friendly Yogurt really hits a home run in our book as it’s super low carb, high in fat, and totally delicious! What more could you ask for in a keto snack? Some of our readers have reported having a hard time finding Ratio in stock, so be sure to head over to the official Ratio website and use their store locator to find out where you can purchase this yummy yogurt!
Here’s why Stetson LOVES Ratio keto yogurt:
“Woooooowwww- this yogurt is sooo good. It’s creamy yet thick, and there’s no weird after-taste. Careful though, once you start eating one you won’t be able to stop. I thoroughly enjoyed this yogurt, its texture is perfect and the taste is even sweeter. I like that all of the flavors are great and not just one of them, which I’ve often found with other yogurt brands, every one of these is a home run.”
Check out what our Hip2Keto readers have to say about Ratio Yogurt:
“Ratio Keto yogurt- specifically coconut and mango are HANDS DOWN the best keto yogurt. Two good is too bitter for my personal taste, but I am also not a fan of greek-style yogurt.” – Kellie
“Keto ratio is the best keto yogurt hands down.” – Santanna
“Ratio is way better! Really I am not even going to consider anything low fat as Keto from now on. It throws everything off for me trying to balance fat/protein. Two Good is too good to be true. It’s way off for me as well. I didn’t care for it. I really hope this fat is evil trend goes away in store-bought products.” – Kenzie
YQ by Yoplait Plain Yogurt
Finally, one other low-sugar option is YQ by Yoplait Plain Yogurt coming in at just 1g of sugar and 2g of net carbs! I haven’t had the chance to give this one a try yet, but plan to soon! Yoplait does have other flavors of the YQ yogurt, however, they are sadly not keto-friendly so be sure and stick with the plain version.

Want to sweeten up your yogurt?
Consider adding a few raspberries or strawberries to make your yogurt a little sweeter while keeping the carb count under control. A half a cup of raspberries is only 3 net carbs!
I’m also a fan of adding a few drops of liquid stevia to plain yogurt to take away some of the bitterness and make it sweeter. Lakanto Monk Fruit Flavored Maple Syrup is also yummy to add to yogurt. It’s just 1 net carb and oh so delicious!
You could also add a little crunch with keto-friendly granola, like this low-carb version from Lakanto that’s simply delicious!
Want to make your own keto yogurt?
Our fabulous recipe creator, Lina, whipped up an Instant Pot recipe for homemade Greek yogurt over on our sister site Hip2Save. To make a low-carb version of this yogurt, we suggest swapping the regular creamer for a keto-friendly creamer and using monk fruit or Swerve to sweeten the yogurt if desired.
Hip Tip: We love Lakanto Monk Fruit, and you can save 15% off your purchase when you use our promo code HIP2KETO at checkout on Lakanto’s website.

Oikos triple zero Salted Caramel is my go-to… Too Good isn’t available in my town..
I do oikos triple zero as well. I put keto friendly granola into it.
please share your granola brand/label…i”m just getting started!
Thanks in advance
SOLA granola- double chocolate and maple pecan chocolate
Mmmm….which ones are keto friendly?
Two good yogurt is the best. It’s the first keto food I bought that was for me. I love putting it in my protein shake.
I’ve been keto for 60days and am sure to continue.
Yay! That’s awesome to hear! Thanks a bunch for sharing with us!
Two Good is awesome!
I use Fage 5% and highly recommend it! Even though it has 6 carbs that is for a 7 oz serving whereas all the others are 5.3 oz! That means for 5.3 oz you actually get 4.5 carbs. I find because it’s higher in fat I don’t feel the need to have as much of it… so I often end up eating a little less than 5.3 oz, leading to around 3-4 grams of carbs. Also it is a bit thicker than 0% – 2% yogurt so it’s actually nice to thin it with a little almond or coconut milk, doesn’t affect the taste at all for me and it becomes less thick and a larger quantity basically. Trial and error for that.
I think it’s way better to have this natural yogurt and a little cheaper than Two Good. Plus it has more fats in it which is good for keto, AND I can control the sweetness. I use monkfruit extract (better than stevia!) and a little vanilla extract. It is also great to make a savory dip for vegetables such as celery or cucumber, using some simple seasonings. I would say buying Fage is a better investment than Two Good for this reason as well as the fat content! But ultimately for writing an article I’d really recommend a like for like comparison in terms of serving size… otherwise it is an unfair comparison!
Thank you so much for taking the time to write all this out, Britt! It sounds like Fage 5% has really been great for you! Thanks for all the serving ideas as well!
Two Good Vanilla yogurt is my go to. I add a few blueberries or blackberries and I feel like I am having a dessert…yum!
Hi Jo. That does sound delicious!
I live in the Chicago Northwest burbs, so there are lots of grocery stores nearby. That said, I have been looking for YQ yogurt. I didn’t see it at all in Walmart and Mariano’s(owned by Kroger)only had flavored varieties in the 5.3 oz size, all of which have at least 13 g carbs. I was really looking for the plain, but will have to continue my search. I do not live near a SuperTarget or a Super Walmart. Has anyone in Chicago found the 26 oz tubs. So I’m still using 2Good for now. I looked at the Oikos Triple 0 Vanilla, and I thought it seemed rather carb heavy, but maybe my old eyes didn’t read the fine print right!
Hi there! Have you checked the store locator to see if any store near you carries it? If not you can always check online to save a trip! Hope this helps❣

Too Good Yogurt!! Is great !!
Hi Marianne! I love it too ❤
I like the Two Good yogurts and I sometimes throw a few pecans in there and it’s delicious.
YUM! 😋 Thanks for letting us know how you have enjoyed them!
I Just found the TWO GOOD yogurts at the grocery store. OMG I am SO happy.
:ratio keto friendly has 200 cal, 15 g fat, 2 g carb, 1 sugar, and 15 G protein in a 150 g container. I found it at Von’s grocery. It’s yummy! I found vanilla, strawberry and mango flavors.
Oh, that’s interesting! I have not heard of them! Thanks, Alison!
I agree! Way better of all keto yogurts I’ve tried!
I enjoy the two good yogurt. I make my own version of granola that is nut based. We enjoy it for that quick grab breakfast. It’s also great to make a breakfast smoothie with.
That sounds yummy!
Deborah, can you share the recipe for the granola. I’m new to keto but would love to try it. Thank you.
Two Good is my absolute favorite
Awesome! Thanks for letting us know you have liked that one too!
You need to try Ratio then. Makes two good taste too bad.
Ratio Keto yogurt- specifically coconut and mango are HANDS DOWN the best keto yogurt. Two good is too bitter for my personal taste, but I am also not a fan of greek-style yogurt.
Thanks for the suggestion, Kellie! Good to know what you have liked best!
Ratio is way better. No idea why it isn’t in this list. Really I am not even going to consider anything low fat as Keto from now on. It throws everything off for me trying to balance fat/protein. Two Good is too good to be true. It’s way off for me as well. I didn’t care for it. I really hope this fat is evil trend goes away in store bought products.
My go to is the mixed berry or peach Two Good Yogurt. I really like it for breakfast.
YUM! Thanks for commenting, Annemarie!
I could some help here! New to Leto! I bought Kroger, plain Greek whole milk yogurt 16g of protein. Is this the right one? I add 2 cut up strawberries to it, a dash of Swerve, and some unsweetened coconut shavings in there. Am I doing this right?
I really did type Keto not Leto. Sorry!
You bought one with 7 carbs. Regular yogurt is usually more than 20 so I would consider it low carb. Depending on the keto lifestyle you are choosing could determine if you eat this.
I wanted to love Two Good but the flavor and texture are not great. Plus its way out of balance for protein/fat. I have to add MCT oil to stuff to balance it out. The texture is grainy. You guys didn’t mention ratio keto yogurt. Its MUCH better in my opinion and the fat/protein balance is better. Not perfect but way way better. Im just going to ignore low fat yogurt from now on. There has to be something out there that has a higher fat content.
Thanks for the tip on ratio keto yogurt! We are going to give it a try!
Two good is great..if you want to you can get sugar free whipped cream..0 carbs..to make it creamier
Thanks for the tip! Sounds yummy!
Keto ratio is the best keto yogurt hands down
2 good is the best . Splash of vanilla skinny syrup strawberries almond milk psyllium husk blend = keto srawberrie shake . Bout 7 carbs .
I tried the two good and the ratio. I found that the ratio spiked my blood sugar. Turns out that there’s sucralose in the ratio. That can kick ya right out of ketosis. At least, it did for me.
Two Good does not work for me; quite tasteless and texture is too thin.
Darn! Thanks for the honest comment, Marcella!
I love the TwoGood the best! I have not tried the Keto brand, I was excited to see it until I read the ingredients. It is sweetened with Sucralose and that’s a sweetener that I will not use, it give me headaches.
I’ve had the vanilla and blueberry Two Good yogurt and they were delicious. It is a bit hard to find
Happy you’ve enjoyed those, Becky! Thanks for commenting!
Just happened to find the Ratio yogurt and thinking of the worst, but omg! It’s better than any “regular” yogurt I’ve had, it’s like a thick and creamy dessert! I add the keto friendly granola and it keeps me satisfied until dinner!
I am so glad to hear that, Angie! Thank you so much for letting us know what you think!
We need these in the UK
:ratio Keto is fabulous. My only gripe is that I want to eat two!!! Which of course isn’t a good idea because calories are high. Coconut, mango, vanilla and black cherry are the ones I tried. Love them all but coconut may be best. A little dollop of redi whip and it’s an extraordinary treat. I have one as a meal substitute or sometimes as a treat in the evenings. But again – calorie count is high – so I have to be careful.
I love the two good yogurt! It is nice and thick. They now have a new lemon flavor which is amazing!
YUM! Thanks for letting us know you’ve enjoyed the new lemon flavor!
Don’t get me wrong, Ratio Keto taste is amazing for a low carb low sugar yogurt, but unfortunately it qualifies as “Dirty Keto” with non Keto friendly sweetners such as Sucralose and Juice Concentrate.
* Sucralose is an artificial sweetener linked to increased appetite, weight gain, and other metabolic health problems.
* Juice Concentrate is a high-glycemic sweetener that can raise your blood sugar levels and may even prevent you from reaching ketosis.
Sometimes the reason certain brands taste better than others is the ingredients aren’t as good for you, or as Keto as you might think.
I’ve tried both, both are good. I will stick to Too Good. Ratio Keto has sucralose and juice concentrate as another person already stated in the comments. Not interested in dirty keto.
