On the fence? Here’s what we think about these Keto Pint ice cream bars…

woman holding keto ice cream bar in kitchen

“Oh my… these are SOOOOOO good and I honestly couldn’t tell they were low carb at all. They are so creamy and definitely gave my sweet tooth the fix it needed.

I really loved the sea salt caramel flavor, but the only downside is that the chocolate coating is pretty messy – so I’d eat this over a bowl next time. It seems when you take a bite some of the chocolate doesn’t always make it in your mouth – well, at least for me that happened, but I’m a messy eater. 🤣” – Collin

“As someone who eats ice cream regularly and isn’t keto-adapted, I did feel that these bars had somewhat of an after taste. The chocolate part tasted like very dark chocolate, which isn’t a big deal as many people really enjoy it.

They were pretty tasty overall, but I think my favorite keto-friendly ice cream bars are the Enlightened bars. These are a close second!” Stetson

“They had me at sea salt caramel as it is one of my most favorite flavors. These bars are delicious and I love that I can eat one and be good, compared to not being able to stop eating an entire pint of ice cream.

The dark chocolate on the outside is great for me because I love the rich, dark flavor. I will say that the outside chocolate coating does seem to melt a little fast, but that’s ok as I’m a fast eater! I will absolutely buy these again!” Angela

Here’s what another reviewer is saying about Keto Pint Ice Cream:

“Hi, repeat customer here! My hubby came home with these one day from his work (Costco) & this became a staple in our house. It is the perfect go-to when you get an ice cream craving. I appreciate the full, creamy flavor & it’s a very good portion in my opinion so you don’t feel like it’s a tease. More importantly, I don’t feel like I’m eating something with only 1g of sugar. Blessed.” – Michelle

We found those too and they are fabulous!

    • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Connie! This is so wonderful to hear! Glad that you enjoyed them❤

  3. Beth Desmarais

    Are these available in Canada?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m not seeing them in Canada at this time.

    • elizabeth-10

I’ve looked every time we go to Costco but never see them😞

  4. Nancy

Very good for an occasional treat. Caution, they can (and did) cause intestinal upset big time for me.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the tip! I’m sorry to hear they upset your tummy.

    • Josh William

Same! I loved the bar but can not eat them as they destroyed my intestines. I still have two full boxes. So sad 🙁

  5. Ed Prasthofer

I agree with Colin in that the chocolate coating is very fragile and a lot ends up on the floor. I believe the coating is far too thin, and I will no longer eat as a regular ice cream bar, but have to hold a plate underneath.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Good idea so you catch it all!

    • Gail

My husband removes the stick & puts it in a bowl with whipped cream & sometimes choc sauce on top. No drips!

  6. Kayleen B Terry

Love them, where can I get them? Costco is not carrying them 🙁

Keto Pint Ice Cream is usually on the bottom of my “Keto Ice Cream” list. To my taste buds, it pales in comparison compared to Rebel Creamery and now Halo Top. But these… Oh dang. These are incredible. My local Costco in Burbank, CA has them, and I buy about 4-5 boxes per trip. There were times Costco hadn’t stocked them for weeks and I craved them something terrible. That being said, here’s the problem: I do crave them. Sometimes its like that Louis CK standup bit about communal cookies and you always pretend to discover the plate, then eating most. That’s me. I can talk myself into eating a few every night. And I’ve been on Keto for 18 months, losing over 100 lbs, going from a 44×29 pant size down to a 30×30 (my legs didn’t grow longer, my belly stopped pushing my waistband down). These are going to be my downfall. I might need to tame my sugar dragon with a 30-day carnivore challenge.

    • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi there! I can totally relate. Ice cream is my kryptonite. I have to limit myself. I can see that skit in my head & think that is so me😬😂 I have to tell myself nothing tastes as good as success feels! Congratulations on the amazing results! That is truly awe inspiring ❤

    • Mark

That’s great! I just started Keto and was wondering what type of workouts and how often?

  8. Deana Pollard Sacks

This product made me ill, and my husband took one bite and threw out the box. I am unusually healthy and tuned in, with a very clean diet, which may account for how it was so clear that this product was like poison for me.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! SO sorry to hear about that. Thanks so much for your honest comment.

    • Teresa

Yes, same for me and my husband. I’m still unwell 12+ hours later! They didn’t bother my kids or t1d so that is the only reason the remaining bars are still in the freezer, delicious but not worth the stomach upset!

  9. Darla

We absolutely love these I only wish we could find more flavors at Costco.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Happy to hear you’ve been loving them! Hope you can score the other flavors soon!

  10. deedee

why does the box say 2g net carbs when it is really 9g net carbs??

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Both the sugar alcohols and fiber are being subtracted to get the 2g of net carbs per serving. Hope this helps!

  11. James Paddor

I have tried and been enjoying Keto bars (purchased from Costco) for approx. 1 year. I find it almost impossible to eat without pieces of the chocolate falling from the bar and messing up whatever surface they land on. I am sure I am not the only customer to which this occurs. I can’t think of a method of avoiding this. Any suggestions?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

This happens to me as well! One tip that helps is to cut a hole in a small paper plate and put the stick through it. Eat off the top and hold the stick underneath. The plate catches the chocolate pieces.

      • Debbie

I always open the wrapper completely and hold it flat under the bar as I eat it. Anything that might fall is caught in the wrapper for me to eat when I’m done. They are so delicious!

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great tip! Thanks for sharing how you eat yours, Debbie! 🙌

  12. Kathleen

My husband is a diabetic so he is limited to what he can and cannot have. I got these for him because the carb count is so good. He loves them and so do I. They do not have any bad effects relating to his sugar count which is what we wanted. They satisfy that chocolate craving and the ice cream craving. So “THANK YOU COSTCO”!!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

That’s awesome! Thank you for telling us!

  13. Patrick PK

These puppies are also available in Puerto Rico. Can’t thank the maker and Costco enough for these. They are wonderful!!

  14. Beatriz

Whole Milk is one of the ingredients, not Keto friendly then. Also my husband and me are Lactose intolerant that’s why this product gave us intestinal problems.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m sorry these bothered your tummy, Beatriz!

  15. Deborah D Korang

My husband and I love these bars, BUT…the taste of the stick at the end is AWFUL and bitter, to the point that we don’t want to eat the last of the pop. Delicious until that last bitter taste of the stick.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks so much for sharing what you both thought of them! We appreciate the honest review!
