Craving that crouton crunch? This easy keto crouton recipe has you covered!

It’s as simple as keto bread cubes, seasoning, and butter. 🤤

The best things in life are bread-based, but as keto eaters, we know that rarely fits into our ketogenic lifestyle. Not to mention all the carbs that come with bread products!

This keto crouton recipe came about when developing a different recipe for a casserole that called for some hearty toasted bread cubes. They were such a hit during the development stage, we knew we had to give them their very own post.

Croutons are one of those things that make anything better — salads, soups, and of course, they’re the star of the show in stuffing. They also serve as an awesome filler in casseroles as we mentioned before.

But did you know they’re a cinch to make? We used our favorite keto bread from Hero, cubed some slices into chunks, poured olive oil and seasonings over top, gave them a good bake, and then finished them off with some melted butter. See? We told you it was easy!

Hip tips for making easy keto croutons:

  • We used Hero Bread since it’s one of our favorite brands of keto bread, though you can use a bread you prefer.
  • While most expect croutons to be savory, we can’t help but wonder how a cinnamon sugar blend might taste on these. Try mixing a keto granular sweetener with some cinnamon, and even a dash of nutmeg — talk about a yummy sweet keto snack!
