chicken pizza crust with pepperoni and cheese

Need a legitimately low-carb, simple pizza crust that tastes delicious?!

There’s no need to miss out on pizza night while eating keto or even carnivore! If you’re looking for the best keto chicken pizza crust, check out this easy one. I think the idea of using chicken as the basis for a pizza crust is a brilliant, grain-free pizza hack that every keto eater should try because the results are delicious!

personal pan keto chicken pizza crust with pepperoni

This makes a small 10-inch pizza and comes in at just one carb! For a single personal-sized pizza, that’s so awesome!

The best part is this simple crust has just three ingredients: shredded, cooked chicken breasts, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. It doesn’t get easier than that!

Tips for making the best keto chicken pizza crust:

    • I prepped this meal by first boiling some chicken on the stovetop. Then I shredded it in my Vitamix blender. This recipe is also perfect for leftover rotisserie chicken you may have in the fridge. In a pinch, you could even use a can of chicken from your pantry!
    • I recommend baking this either on a silicone baking mat or on a piece of parchment paper so it doesn’t stick. I actually baked mine on a 12-inch pizza pan prepped with a piece of parchment paper and it worked great.
    • This pizza can be catered to your taste by using whichever low carb toppings you’d enjoy! Once the crust is browned, top with your favorite keto-friendly pizza toppings, return the crust to the oven to melt, and you’re all set for a delicious, keto-friendly meal!

two slices of keto chicken pizza crust with pepperonis on plate

The result is the best keto chicken pizza crust that you can actually pick up and hold!

I can’t state that enough. You know how hard it is to find a low carb pizza crust that doesn’t flop in your hands.

Keto chicken crust cooked, sliced, and ready to serve.

This recipe is very tasty, and I like how crispy the crust gets. It’s also a versatile idea because you can season this crust as desired and top it with lots of different variations. We topped our pizza with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and fresh basil, but a fresh pesto sauce would be very delicious on this crust, too! YUM!

My teammate Taylor gave this recipe a try and here’s her reaction:

“I honestly wasn’t sure how this crust was going to turn out with the minimal ingredients, but it was amazing and held together so well! This is such a great alternative to buying pricier keto crusts at the store and it was so yummy! I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper, and onion powder and the flavor was perfect! My husband doesn’t eat keto and even he was impressed by how tasty it was. We’ll definitely be making this again!”

    • Lina D

Thatโ€™s great to hear! Thanks Amy!

  2. Colorado Amy

Sounds so easy. Have you tried making this using other kinds of cheese, instead of Parmesan?

    • Lina D

I have not, but let us know if you do! Yes, very easy.

  3. Judy

Sounds good, I’ll have to give it a try.

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      Thanks Judy! Enjoy!

  4. Julie

This was delicious! I had some leftover chicken thighs that I just zapped in the food processor. So easy! I ended up just using my hands to form the crust, though. The rolling pin thing was too complicated ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks for a great recipe!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m so glad you were able to do this with leftovers! Thank you for your review!

  5. Kate

Can the crust be baked the first 10 min ahead of time, like 3-5 hrs, then completed

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I would not recommend that. You could prep the chicken mixture ahead of time and place it in a bowl in the fridge until you are ready to use it later. Then just spread it out, cook 10 min and finish off with toppings and cooking again.

  6. Patricia Glanville

The pizza was easy and very delicious, Can it be frozen once it is made

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yes, as long as it is wrapped well!

  7. Ellie Barlow Williams

I made it last night – it is SOO GOOD! Followed the directions exactly as written but I did add maybe a tablespoon of dried oregano to the pan of chicken breasts as they poached/boiled. Topped with pizza-crusts with keto red sauce and shredded mozz and fresh basil- DELICIOUS!! Great recipe!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh that’s so awesome! Thanks so much for sharing Ellie <3

  8. Leah

Can you do this recipe in the air fryer ?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Leah! We haven’t made it that way, however with a quick search it looks like some have done that successfully! If it fits in your air fryer basket it should work! You could maybe make two smaller ones and use the parchment paper so it wonโ€™t stick. Let us know how it turns out for you if you decide to give it a try!๐Ÿ’ž

  9. William McGowan

This crust is awesome. My wife found this and makes it for her diet but it is really good. I actually like this more than *some* of the “regular dough” pizzas. Not many—but this is better. It’s a solid 8 of 10. But for Keto–it’s a real 10.
It’s healthier for our diet and very flavorful. Definitely worth a try–particularly for a low-Keto diet.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! That is so great to hear! Thank you for sharing how much you enjoy this crust, William! ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ’•
