papa murphy's crustless pizza

Oh pizza… 🍕

A couple of years ago, Papa Murphy’s Pizza hopped on the low-carb fast food bandwagon with its Crustless Keto Pizzaand we are still loving it! 😍 It’s an easy way to get the pizza taste you’re craving without adding in a ton of carbs (and when you don’t have the time to make homemade keto pizza).

Now, if you want to get technical, it’s really a pizza casserole, but hey – whatever you want to call it, there’s no doubt that it’s totally delicious! 😋

Papa who?

If you’re not familiar with Papa Murphy’s, they are a little different than your average pizza chain. Everything they sell is based on the Take and Bake format—meaning you order the pizza, they put it together, then you take it home and bake it when you’re ready to eat it.

Here’s what ya need to know about Crustless Keto Pizza at Papa Murphy’s!

Each Papa Murphy’s Crustless Keto Pizza comes in a 7″ x 9″ tray with 8 servings per tray and starts around $12.99 (depending on the toppings and which pizza you order). Most of the Crustless Keto Pizzas do contain red sauce which contains 2g of sugar per serving. This isn’t exactly ideal for keto, but if you can fit it in your macros and don’t practice super clean keto, then you’re good to go!

pizza toppings

To make these pizzas even more keto-friendly, simply change the traditional red sauce to creamy garlic sauce or olive oil & garlic sauce. The chicken bacon artichoke and the gourmet vegetarian pizzas already have the creamy garlic sauce so feel free to order them as is!

Keep in mind you can always order your own custom Crustless Keto Pizza with up to five of your favorite toppings!

See Stetson dish about Papa Murphy’s Crustless Keto Pizza on Facebook live!

“It tastes exactly how you would think—full of pizza flavors, just without the high-carb crust. This crustless pizza is really filling and satisfying. If you’re craving or missing pizza on the keto diet and don’t like to cook (that would be me! 🙋‍♂️), then this is the way to go! I got full pretty quickly while eating a portion of it.” – Stetson

I love this idea! Definitely going to try. It looks way better than slopping the toppings off regular dough and then you’re stuck with a piece no one else wants lol. I feel the cost would be reasonable, considering the cost of good almond flour and cheeses if you make fat head dough. Thanks!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SO true! You’re very welcome, Brit! Hope you enjoy it!

      • K

The cost is $15.00 not worth it at all. We are so disappointed. Do not order. Create your own

        • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi K! Thank you for you honest feedback ❤

        • Kim Ealy

Each of us has our price points – what we are willing to spend or not spend money on. I LOVED the 2 crust less options I bought and they were only $12 plus I had a 25% coupon code. Eating out and eating healthy isn’t really cheap anywhere. I will say that this did not feed 8 people. It fed me…twice. LOL

          • Jess

I agree it’s two servings three at the most. But I think affordable and a great to go option on a busy day

            • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Jess! Thank you for the feedback ❤

        • B

I agree for the price it’s not worth it, you can easily make your own for much less..

        • GB

          $10 Tuesdays

      • Kavio Miles

        It’s amazing 👏 😍

      • GAB

You can also go to the salad bar at your local grocery store, and fill a container with pepperoni, bacon, other meats, cheese, olives, and other salad-ish toppings of your choice. At home, drop it in a casserole dish and make your own crustless pizza.

    2. Brandy

Way easier AND cheaper than the one I make!

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Thanks for stopping by, Brandy!

    3. Cristina Carden

Sad that we do not have a location in Atlanta. Any “make at home” recipes for the Chicken Bacon Artichoke Crustless Pizza?

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer. Thanks for the request, Cristina! I’ll be sure to pass that along to the team!

      • Breanna

I make this from home I add my sauce to the bottom of a 8×8 inch pan. Then top with mozzarella cheese and then whatever toppings I want bake it are 425 degrees F and bake for 15-20 min

    4. Dan

Had the veggie one last night. First of all, 8 servings……..not a chance…each serving would be about a 2″x2″ square (and its thin after you cook it) .
We ended up splitting the entire tray for dinner, which came out to 12 carbs. Was hoping it was a lot more filling than what it was.
We used the 25% off $20+ and ended up getting two of them for $21. Hopefully the bacon artichoke one is better. So far not adding this to our keto eat-out options.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on these with us. Sorry to hear it was not as filling as expected.

    5. Rachel

You mentioned that you can make it more keto friendly by swapping out the red sauce for the creamy garlic, and I was trying to find out how many grams of carbs are in the creamy garlic sauce per serving by itself to do a more accurate carb count for a customized pizza but I can’t find that info anywhere. Do you know how many carbs are in the garlic sauce, if any?

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

A great way to figure that out is to go here: https://www.papamurphys.com/nutrition
You can build a meal if you choose, Papa’s All Meat, then next option choose crustless, then choose the sauce. All the information will be on the right side. It shows you by the slice (or serving).

      • Sheree Hendricks

Plus the ingredients says high fructose?

    6. Tom

Snagged these w/ a 50% off coupon and put some in the freezer. I agree with Dan, NOT A CHANCE that the servings meet what is said for nutritional values. I cooked up the all meet (with garlic sauce) and the thing went from nearly 1 1/2″ thick to probably 1/4″. It was almost the same as what you’d expect from pulling off the top of a pizza. I’ll finish off the others in the freezer, but from now on I’m likely going to order a large pizza with the same toppings, bake it and simply peel off all the toppings. At $14 for the keto, you’ll likely get twice your money just ordering it on a pizza. Feels like they are either taking advantage of us with the keto name or the Papa Murphy’s in my town doesn’t make them right.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Tom. Thank you for the detailed feedback. It is a fairly new menu item so perhaps your right & they haven’t exactly figured out the right portions. We also have some great keto pizza recipes with the crust. Then you don’t have to eat just the toppings😋

        • Tom

Thank you for the recommendation, though there is something about Papa Murphy’s and their toppings… delicious. I’m going to go in and snag another all-meat pizza and do a side-by-side comparison. I’m going to wager that the pizza for $14 w/crust has about 2.5x the toppings as the $14 bowl. No matter, it’s an option and I’m lovin it. Not to do Little Ceasar’s. haha

      • Larry Little

where do you get a 50% off coupon ?

        • Diana Isham

Where do we find the coupons

      • Jason C

Just had it tonight. Delicious and satisfying. However, I agree that there has to be some error in the nutritional values. 1/8 of the pizza is one serving? That’s maybe three forkfuls. I ate the whole thing, but because of my workout it still fit in my macros. It really does shrink down after cooking.

        • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Jason! So glad that you enjoyed it.We have doubled checked with them on the nutritional values as well & they have assured us that this is correct! Thanks for letting us know❤

    7. Kim

I need one here the closet to me is about 45 miles away. I would love to give them a try.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

        I love Papa Murphy’s!

    8. Shirley

I purchased the Murphy’s version and the nutritional value online is based on 78 g per “1/8 slice.” I weighed my container when I got home, and with the container and contents it was only 68 g/ 1/8 svg. Did you calculate the weight and nutritional value that you can share? Thank you!

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Shirley. We got the nutritional value from their website here:https://www.papamurphys.com/nutrition
It’s possible the weight will vary. Hope this helps.

    9. Hailey

Lol I’m reading the article and think wow that stove looks familiar! That’s my pic I left on their fb post! Hahaha

      • Sheree Hendricks

I can’t find carbs in sauces. Plus times it by 8, because I ate the whole container.

        • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi there Sheree! The macros listed include the sauces. Hope this helps❤

    10. Michelle

We purchased 2 of these. Used a 25% off coupon and the total came to $18.75. I saw that this is the equivalent of a medium pizza, there are 3 of us doing keto, so I figured this would be plenty. As someone mentioned above, this cooks down to about 1/4”. Between the 3 of us, we ate everything and we were all still hungry. The math nerd in me checked their numbers out (unfortunately after the fact). A medium pizza is 12” (113.04 sq. in.) and this product is 7”x9” (area=63 sq. in.), so this 55% of a medium pizza for about the same price. I feel you would be way better ordering their medium pizza and scraping the toppings into a baking dish at home before you cook it.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Michelle. Darn, we are sorry to hear that the filling shrinks up so much.😩 Thank you for the feedback.

      • Jacob de Vries

Hi, I would just like to clarify that regardless of the surface area of the medium compared to the keto, the keto does get the same topping portions. The only difference then is the lack of dough. We treat the keto pizzas as medium pizzas with a crust substitution.

        • Laura

Thanks for sharing this. I was trying to build my own in the nutrition calculator, and wondering what size it compares to.

    11. Rebecca

Thank you for sharing this! Another great keto option!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO welcome, Rebecca! Glad this will be a helpful option to add to your meal ideas! 🙌

    12. Debra McDonald

I love Papa Murphy’s pizza! So I thought the keto pizza would be good. But I paid $16 for it and my husband and I halved it in one setting. Too small for what I paid and didn’t get near the cheese on it that you normally get on a regular pizza. I won’t order it again.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! Thanks a bunch for your honest comment, Debra. Sorry the size was disappointing. We sure appreciate hearing about your experience!

    13. Jen

So is it bad if I can eat the whole thing in one sitting? Lol. I just get the red sauce, cheese and Italian sausage and have no problem finishing the tray for lunch.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Jen! Right? Like as long as it fits in my macros I’m all about that pizza life! 🍕

    14. vicki dewitt

Thanks so much for this post! I just went to BoomBozz the other night and they do the same, and it was DELICIOUS!! Papa Murphy’s is much more convenient so I’ll feel good knowing this is an option.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh good! You’re so welcome, Vicki! Glad this was helpful!

    15. JorrieM

I picked up one based on this post and it was great! I was only able to get through 1/4 of it. I can’t imagine eating it all at one time, They allow subs if you don’t like an item or want to change something. The restaurant isn’t close to my house so it won’t be in regular rotation but it DEFINITELY hit that pizza craving and I felt it was way more stuff than I could have just scraped off a pizza. Plus in my area it’s only 9 bucks so the cost felt fair too!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Happy to hear how filling it was and that it calmed your pizza craving 🍕! Thanks a bunch for taking a moment to share with us!

    16. Lucas

What a joke!! Thats a lot of carbs for a little tiny serving! Make your own crust at home it is three ingredients. It is super easy and only takes a few minutes. I would never buy one of those!!!

    17. Candy

How do you order them? Our Papa Murphy’s closed down.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Candy! Darn you would have have a Papa Murphys to order this from them. So sorry 💔

    18. Gail Rudolph

Just tried the keto pizza from papa murphys. It was great.Bought it on Tuesday when all pizzas are 10 bucks.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Gail! Great idea! I’m glad you enjoyed it❤

    19. Sue

How many ounces are in the crustless pizzas ?

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Sue! That may vary based on the type you order. Each crustless pizza has 8 servings. You can find the full values for each when clicking through the link above, and then scroll down to click on “Nutritional information”.
        Hoping this might help!

    20. Joe

Just tried the Keto from Papa Murphy’s last night – meat lovers with creamy garlic. I loved it – it’s pricy but I do not like the taste of cauliflower and have not liked any of the low carb pizza so far (crust is always funky). I would rather have this with no crust and all the toppings. I’m a big guy and I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life so I am thrilled with the new Keto crust less pizza from Papa Murphy’s.

      • Joe

Did want to add that it’s not cheap – like $13-$14, and it’s basically a serving for two people IMO. Still, well worth it for pizza lovers

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

What a great review! Thank you for telling us, Joe! Keep it up!

    21. Dave

We ordered one, it was really good but it’s not 8 servings unless you’re not hungry.
      More like 2-3 servings.
It would be much better if they doubled the sauce and cheese.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, Dave! Glad you enjoyed yours!

      • acbrown

We just had the meatlovers AND a garden salad and both were three servings (no way 8). Maybe four if you’re four dieting women (we were one woman and two men — and ate it all). It was good; definitely killed the pizza craving. Great if you have no time to make it, but I’m going to try at some point.

        • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi there! So glad you enjoyed it! That’s a bummer that it wasn’t enough for 8!

    22. Janis Werner

I love their Keto pizzas but they never offer specials on them! I do have a 25% off $20 so thinking about buying 4 and freezing 3 of them.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I like the idea of freezing them!

    23. mike cearley

we live n Amarillo Tx and buy the Keto Cowboy we split it and are stuffed, will split a half next it is delicious and a good value Thanks for a great idea!! and product

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Mike! I love this idea. I live in Texas too. I will have to try this one❤ So glad that you enjoyed it! Thank you for the valued feedback.

    24. Margarita

There is a place called Marco’s Pizza that has crustless for $8 and it is 2 servings per pizza. It is a decent size, NOT this small, but carb count is around 11 grams per serving so if I know I am doing pizza night, I keep my carbs during the day to zero as close as I can.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Margarita! That’s awesome! Thanks for letting us know❤

    25. Robin Espinoza

We loved it! We divided into four and made a salad! $9 is a great deal. It’s not for everyday for sure but it totally worked for my pizza cravings.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yummy idea to create salads with it, Robin! 😋 Thanks for taking a moment to comment!

    26. Dan

Watch how they make it, and next time make it at home for 1/4 the cost. But I understand, sometimes we just don’t feel like cooking.

    27. Joan

I loved this. It was so good and got 4 meals out of it was a real deal. Paired it with a salad and it was a great meal.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Joan! So glad that you loved it. 🥰

    28. Krystal Curtis

I’ve had the bacon artichoke crustless pizza. It’s great, but there is NO WAY there are 8 servings! Maybe 3 if you really aren’t that hungry.

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Krystal! Thank you for the heads up. I’m glad that you did enjoy them though❤

    29. MrsErnie2001

Just tried Papa Murphy’s Crustless Pizza for the first time. I got the Chicken Bacon Artichoke and it was scrumptious! My 18-yr old picky eater actually tried it and then came back for more 😊. $10 on a Tuesday works for me. My family of 3 ate it all. Still room for snack/dessert later. Thanks so much for all of the great information on your website/app!

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hey there❤ That one is so good! I’m glad you could sneak the veggies past your picky eater. Thank you for the sweet, kind feedback. After all, we do it for awesome readers like you❤

    30. Cindy Patmon

I haven’t tried this but I love Papa Murphy’s! I am having one for my birthday lunch !

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Cindy! Yay🙌 Hope you have a very Happy Birthday 🎂❤

    31. EDIE VEST

Just today was excited to try the crustless pizza, I loved it, I couldn’t even eat half of it, so filling, excited next to try garlic sauce, Paid $9:00 was so worth it!!!

      • Angie (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi Edie! Yay🙌 So glad you loved it!

    32. Harry & Renee Conrad

I have had the keto crustless pizza from papa murphys twice and while I loved it I do think the price is on the high side. I know I am getting all the toppings of a medium pizza but without the crust the price should be lower than a normal pizza. They advertise 8 servings per container, but there is only 2 servings in that container.

      • Harry & Renee Conrad

they are pricing the papa’s favorite at $14.50. should be lower without the crust.

    33. Emily

I ordered several of these on a day they were on sale for $6. I baked them and then added cauliflower rice or Miracle noodles to them to increase the serving amount while not ingesting more calories- delicious and filling!!

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing that with us, Emily!

    34. MrBill.

Love the keto take and bake.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

        Glad to hear it! 🙌

    35. Todd

I bought it not realizing the size what a joke for $10 I could have made one 4 times the size

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! Sorry to hear it was much smaller than expected. Thanks for the honest feedback!

    36. Jackie Lewis

It’s nice that it’s convenient but at $15 it’s irritating that they are clearly up charging just because they slapped keto in the name. Topping wise I compared tonight when I ordered and the large pizza with crust costs less and has almost double the toppings of what comes in the tray. Next time I’ll just pay less for the pizza and scrape the toppings off myself for a better deal.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Another idea is that you can order all your toppings on the side. Mine does that if I request and then you don’t have to scrape them off. Your cheese is usually still on the pizza.

    37. ghostangel

There’s not one close to us.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! I’m sorry to hear that. Here’s hoping you get one closer!
