Well, friends… these keto noodles are the perfect Ramen sub out there! Once you make a bowl of Immi Ramen, you’ll understand how all of my salty, savory, ramen-noodly dreams came true, while not being the ridiculously high net carb count of traditional ramen. Even my Hip teammate Erica agrees!

Better yet, I couldn’t wait to share this keto find with you, and to give you all the more reason to try these noodles, we secured a $5 off promo code for Hip2Keto readers. 🙌

But before I get too ahead of myself…

I’ll be the first to say my team and I were a little hesitant to share these since they’re very dirty keto (*ahem* the second ingredient is wheat gluten). However, I can’t express enough how picky of an eater my son is, so for him to give a stamp of approval on a low carb product under 5g net carbs, I deem that worthy enough to share, even if they’re not squeaky clean keto.

When compared to mainstream ramen brands like Cup of Noodles, Immi Ramen is saving you loads of carbs and loads of sodium! Not to mention that typical ramen only has around 2 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein, meaning you’ll likely be hungry after intaking a ton of sodium and other garbage. This keto ramen packs on protein and fiber, so you’re rewarded with a filling meal. I’ll get into more on the nutrition a bit further down in this post.

Did you know? Immi Ramen isn’t just for keto folks like us; it’s also 100% plant-based! This is great for any of our Hip2Keto friends following a keto vegan lifestyle!

keto ramen boiling

Let’s talk about the flavor varieties of Immi Ramen noodles.

I’m really struggling to pick a favorite here because each Immi Ramen is super flavorful. It’s prepared the exact same way as regular ramen, too. Just put it in boiling water and once cooked, add the seasoning from each packet — easy peasy!

There are three flavors, including black garlic “chicken”, spicy “beef”, and tom yum “shrimp”. I use quotes because we can’t forget this ramen is fully plant-based so the flavors are not coming from the actual protein source.

  • Black Garlic “Chicken” is a classic you can’t go wrong selecting and contains hints of garlic, scallions, and umami.
  • Spicy “Beef” offers a hearty kick and adds an extra element with traces of Sichuan peppercorns, anise, and fennel.
  • Tom Yum “Shrimp” contains a more zesty taste with notes of lemongrass, citrus, and chili.

When in doubt, get the variety pack and try each flavor!

immi ramen low carb and keto ramen noodles

Keto ramen isn’t too good to be true!

You can really enjoy delicious savory ramen noodles totally guilt-free. I’m not the only raving fan either, my hubby and teenage son both love these noodles. My son is highly picky when it comes to keto food and loves regular Ramen, so I was quite surprised by how much he likes these much lower carb noodles. My sidekick, Erica, is also a huge fan…

Here’s what Erica on our team had to say:

“I actually loved all three flavors so much that it is very hard to pick a favorite. They taste so similar to ramen noodles… it is UN-REAL! If I had to pick, I actually really like the Shrimp one the best! It has such a great flavor – as all of them do. They are super filling, too!”

Next time, I’m taking this to the next level!

One thing I really want to try is adding other ingredients to truly kick this keto ramen up a notch! Adding a hard-boiled egg, veggies, and some meat (since I’m not vegan or vegetarian) is something I’ve seen many others do. Jazzing up this already delicious ramen base is just what I need in my life! 😍

adding peanut to keto pad thai with spaghetti squash

I think this would be so good in our Keto Pad Thai recipe (in place of the spaghetti squash).

    wait is this also plant-based??

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Tiffany! I was able to find this information on their noodles in their FAQ – “immi ramen is a vegan friendly option and all of our ingredients are plant-based. We plan on getting our noodles vegan certified in the future.” Hoping this is helpful! 🤗💗
