Don’t make pour decisions with your wine. 🍷

Is wine keto? It can be! If you love a glass of red or white with dinner, you’re in luck! Skip those carbs and choose a keto wine from our list of favorites! These low-carb wines are delicious, sugar-free, gluten-free and perfect for all occasions.

You’ll enjoy every glass completely guilt-free. Cheers!

Let’s first understand carbs in wine. Where do they come from?

As you probably already know, wine is made by fermenting grapes and during this process, yeast converts carbohydrates (i.e. sugars) into alcohol. Depending on when the fermentation process is stopped will determine the leftover sugars (AKA carbs).

Is wine keto?

Some wines are keto-friendly, but not all! When following a keto diet, a bottle of dry white wine such as a Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Chardonnay will be your best bet. If you’re more of a red wine lover, you’ll want to veer towards light to medium-bodied dry red wines such as Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Many wine bottles and manufacturers don’t specify the amount of carbs on the labeling. If you want to be completely sure that your beverage of choice is low carb, try one of the tried and true keto wine brands from the list below!

So without further ado, here is a list of the best keto wine to buy:

I live in a smaller area. None of these wines are available to me, outside expensive mail ordering. Please help? Are there general guidelines I can apply to more mainstream, national brands? Thanks so much.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

We have this general info in the post, “When following a keto diet, a bottle of dry white wine such as a Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Chardonnay will be your best bet. If you’re more of a red wine lover, you’ll want to veer towards a light to medium-bodied, dry red wines such as Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.” Since you don’t have these brands, you can follow these guidelines. Hope this helps!

Pretty sure most of these offer free shipping.
