Tips for making low-carb cream cheese roll-ups (a.k.a. keto pinwheels):

  • Chop your red and green peppers into small pieces for the best presentation.
  • Let cream cheese sit out at room temperature for about 15 minutes to soften. This will make it easier to mix and spread your pinwheel filling.
  • Serving in the shape of a tree for the holidays? Make your keto pinwheels green by using a keto spinach wrap instead of the tortilla.
  • Avoid making these Christmas pinwheels more than a day in advance as they may turn soggy.

I’m enjoying this low carb snack and I think you will too!

It’s much easier to stay consistent with my low carb lifestyle when I keep my keto recipes simple. I love that these cream cheese roll-ups only use a few ingredients most of which I consider keto staples that are already on hand.

They are great for serving at parties too! If you need a keto-friendly appetizer for your next potluck, cookout, or birthday party, give this recipe a try!

Plus, don’t forget to serve them as Christmas pinwheels during the holidays! 🎄☃️
