Warm up with this delicious keto hot chocolate!

When the fall and winter seasons arrive, I get two requests; soups and hot chocolate. Everyone seems to love the rich and creamy chocolate in every sip. 😋

Luckily, keto hot chocolate is super easy to make with just a few ingredients. So get out the Crock-Pot slow cooker, take just 5 minutes to prep, and let it do its magic. Yes, your slow cooker isn’t just for meals anymore!

Hip Tips:

  • You have to get yourself the IKEA Frother! It whips up the thickest froth within seconds.

Everyone loves rich and creamy hot chocolate, and they’ll really love that it’s low-carb. 😋

I’ve added heavy whipping cream in this recipe to give it extra creaminess. This is the perfect hot drink to have ready on the counter for the whole family.

Don’t be alarmed by the high total carb count!

Fiber and erythritol (the main ingredient in Swerve) do not affect blood sugar in the same way that regular carbs do, so we subtracted them from the total carb count. You’ll see that the net carbs are much lower once you remove the sugar alcohols and fiber.

where do you get your chocolate chips? They’re $13ish on amazon and I’m not sure if this is a good price.

I found mine today at Walmart for under $4 a package, and I live in a small Montana town. 🙂 If you google Bake Believe you’ll find their website, and they have a store locator.

What is I am looking for just single packets of Keto friendly hot cocoa, while I know I could power down a crockpot full of hot cocoa – I am kinda looking for a single use option.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Barbara! You can find two different options for the single use powder here and here. Hope this helps!
