I need help! I’ve been staying below 20 net carbs (I deduct for fiber, but not sugar alcohols- didn’t know they were a thing) for 4 weeks. I just used a pee stick and it was light pink! LOW ketones! And I’ve only lost 3 pounds. VERY discouraged. Also, how much FAT should I be consuming?

Hi, Mairi! If you’ve been staying below 20 net carbs for 4 weeks and have only lost three pounds, be sure you’re getting at least 75% of your calories for the day from fat. Also, start counting those fiber carbohydrates, and KEEP counting sugar alcohol carbohydrates, since those can trip people up sometimes. Go with 75% fat, 20% protein, and 5% carbohydrates, and you should see the scale move again. Also, per a light pink stick, that’s great! It means you’re still losing. Keep it up!
