The what project?!

The Teal Pumpkin Project was created by FARE with the idea to give out non-food items so kids are able to participate in the fun holiday, but without receiving things that can make them sick. By setting out a teal pumpkin, you tell parents it’s safe for children with allergies to stop by your home to trick or treat.

Need a teal pumpkin? Check out Target for their selection of teal pumpkins in an array of sizes. They even have treat buckets for the kiddos to indicate to those handing out the treats that they have food allergies. Even better, since they won’t spoil, you’ll have no mess and be able to use them year after year!

And for the parents who are used to nibbling on the treats as they get handed out:

LILY's Chocolate Bars

Try Lily’s Chocolates — they’re a Hip2Keto team favorite! Offered in a variety of flavors, you’ll cure all the chocolate cravings without eating a mountain of sugar.

Now you’ll be ready for any and all trick-or-treaters who come your way!
