I LOVE a good ice cream sandwich! I will reach for one over a pint of ice cream 10 out of 10 times, so I like to think my tastebuds know what they’re talking about. I don’t know about you, but whenever I try something keto-friendly, I expect the texture to be a little bit off, which is one of the reasons I am so impressed with Killer Sammies! 🙌🏼
These completely exceeded my very high expectations in all categories: they are creamy and sweet with just the right touch of crumble, and most definitely ‘I’ll-have-seconds’-worthy! (Is it still keto-approved to eat 2?) 😂
The only thing I would note is that after sharing these with many family members and friends, we all agreed that overall these sandwiches are a little denser. So whereas you might expect to bite into a fluffy, almost airy ice cream sandwich, these feel more solid (basically more goodness packed into them if you ask me 😉).
