Homemade Keto Chocolate-Stuffed Croissants – Starbucks-Inspired with WAY Less Sugar!
Use Hero keto croissants to make a delicious baked croissant with melted chocolate chips for breakfast!
Here’s a keto breakfast or special brunch idea just in time for the holidays!
Does your family love the chocolate stuffed croissants from Starbucks?! My teenagers request them all the time, so I’m pumped I’ve hacked how to create a similar version at home. The best part is you can use three simple keto-friendly ingredients to keep this idea low in net carbs.
The key to this idea is picking a low in net carb croissant!
Hero bakery-style croissants are flaky, buttery, soft, and so darn perfect! Hero products are super impressive with how they taste and the low in net carb nutrition is so helpful for staying on track. They don’t even taste low net carb and are incredibly delish!
Each croissant has 20 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein, making it a filling option for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner. We also love that it has 0 grams of sugar to help support your low-carb lifestyle.
The highly-anticipated re-stock of the Hero croissants is here! 🥐
RUN, don’t walk, to Hero.co to scoop up as many of the Hero low net carb croissants as humanly possible. These have had a waitlist of 13K+ keto eaters eagerly awaiting their return, and we have it on good intel that these are expected to sell out again within a matter of days.
Keto chocolate croissants are a dream come true!
When you stuff these croissants with no added sugar chocolate chips the result is a drool-worthy combination of warm buttery croissant and sweet melted chocolate. I can’t think of a better combo. Then you can dust each with a little keto confectioner sugar such as Swerve.
This is honestly one of the best and easiest breakfast hacks EVER!

Tips for making stuffed chocolate croissants:
- Can you freeze croissants? Yes! Hero croissants freeze beautifully. They are individually wrapped and can be stored in the freezer for up to 4 months. To defrost set out on the counter for an hour or so. You can also freeze these chocolate ones too.
- I used keto-friendly milk chocolate chips, but you can use dark chocolate if desired. Thinly sliced almonds would be a great addition too!
- Keep any leftovers in a covered container in the fridge for up to a few days. They are great reheated.
My family loved these and I know yours will too! Buttery flakey croissants are heavenly and this delicious idea of baking them with chocolate is as easy as it gets. We have been buying chocolate croissants for years and I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this before. What a perfect holiday treat for Christmas brunch too.
