MASSIVE Egg Recall after More Fall Ill

A massive egg recall has resulted from even more ill consumers.

Heads up, egg lovin’ keto fans! ?

Be sure and check your egg cartons! The CDC reports 12 more people from five states have become ill from the Salmonella Braenderup outbreak that has caused the massive recall of over 206 million egg, so be sure you don’t have any of these contaminated eggs hanging around in your fridge.

To date, 35 illnesses have been reported in connection with these contaminated eggs and 11 people have been hospitalized – but, thankfully, no deaths have been reported.

A massive egg recall has resulted due to reports of more ill consumers.

Here’s what to look for…

The recalled eggs have been sold in restaurants and retail stores in the following nine states: Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia and were sold under multiple brand names, including Coburn Farms, Country Daybreak, Food Lion, Glenview, Great Value, Nelms, Publix, Sunshine Farms, and Sunups.

The affected eggs will have the following numbers printed on the cartons: P-1065 (the plant number) and another set of numbers between 011 and 102 (the Julian date), or, for Publix and Sunups egg cartons, plant number P-1359D and Julian date 048A or 049A with Best By dates of APR 02 & APR 03.

If you have any of these recalled eggs in your household, immediately discontinue use and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
