Person holding Keto Cheese Wrap filled with lettuce and turkey

Make easy Cheese Wraps at home with just one simple ingredient!

If you’ve been looking for an easy way to create a keto-friendly sandwich or wrap, cheese wraps will become your new best friend! But instead of heading out to the store and paying top dollar for these cheese wraps (like the popular Folios brand that we spotted at ALDI), you can easily make your own homemade version.

And the best part – this recipe calls for just ONE ingredient… CHEESE! Easy peasy!

Hip Tips:

  • I love that this recipe is so versatile. You can switch up the flavor by using different cheeses and even adding in different spices and herbs for whatever suits your craving.
  • I do recommend using sliced cheese versus shredded cheese. I have found that sliced cheese has a better consistency when melting.

  1. Silvia Vega

    This is perfect, thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay! You’re very welcome, Silvia!

  2. Anisi

Can these be refrigerated for a meal prep?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yes, if you make the folios, but keep them flat and put parchment paper between each folio. Then when you are ready, you could warm them up for 5-10 seconds so you can roll up and use. I would not roll them with meat and then refrigerate them because the cheese would crack.

  3. Linda Walker

Thanks so much for this receipe. I could not find them anywhere here where I live. Will be making them tomorrow.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You are welcome, Linda Walker! Enjoy them!

  4. Linda

Thanks so much for this! I could not find them at a store anywhere near me. I was sure this wouldn’t work but it did! Game changer!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Thanks for letting us know, Linda!

  5. Marilyn

The idea is wonderful except that the cheese poured out of the pan. Then I reshaped on the parchment. What am I doing wrong?

    • Marilyn

Sorry! I misunderstood the directions. I thought it was supposed to come out of the pan looking like a circle. 🙃🙃🙃
I tried with Gouda and it was too “lacy”.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

No worries! Thanks for the update and the feedback on how it worked with Gouda cheese.

  6. Rachel

Rolling pin worked great to make ours a little bigger then we could get with just the spoon. Super fast and easy way to make a cheese wrap. Thanks for the recipe.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! You’re welcome, Rachel! Glad the rolling pin was helpful! Thanks so much for sharing with us!

  7. Gp

Shredded cheese has been coated so the pieces don’t stick together that’s why it’s not a very good melting cheese

  8. Phyllis White

Frustrated as the size of cheese weight etc not listed.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback, Phyllis! I’ll be sure to pass this along to the team. You could also get a food scale to weigh your ingredients at home. That way you get a more specific weight for the exact slices that you are using.
