Breakfast, Lunch & In-Betweens

As I mentioned before, left-overs play a major role in my typical keto day. I will often eat yesterday’s dinner for breakfast, lunch, or a midnight bite.

For breakfast, I absolutely recommend a delicious, creamy cup of coffee to get you going! I also enjoy traditional scrambled eggs & bacon. Or, for a sweet start to your day, try Lina’s three-minute cinnamon roll microwave mug cake. Yummy!

My lunch is usually pretty basic—I’ll throw together a lettuce wrapped sandwich or eat a couple of hard-boiled eggs. I’m not a huge fish person but for those of you who like tuna, this creative and easy ceviche whips up in only 10 minutes!

If you have the munchies, grab a handful of nuts! One of my personal faves is Royal Hawaiian Orchards, Sea Salt Macadamia Nuts. SO GOOD! I also really like these Sugar-Free Keto Roasted Spiced Almonds because I get my sweet fix and they’re a good source of healthy fat. If you’re not feeling nutty, try these fast and satisfying cheese crisp keto snacks.

Yay, Joan! So happy to have you along for the ride! 😄

  2. Kelli

Do you have recommended brands for “sugar free” products? I have looked everywhere in every store I can’t find sugar free canned tomato sauce. I did find no “sugar added” spaghetti sauces

  3. Melanie

Headed to the store now. Thanks for the guidance, support, and tips. My hubby and I are excited to try this out!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! You’re so welcome, Melanie! Happy shopping!

  4. Annette

  5. Elsa Contreras Jines

I’m ready to start this way of life, but one problem I need to only make enough for 1. Really two because I’d like to have leftovers. When I have halved recipes they didn’t turn as well. Please advise.

  6. Elsa Contreras Jines

Another question. I have read that packaged shredded cheese was not good for you because of the amounts of cellulose used. The amounts are regulated and you could be getting more cellulose than cheese. I’m confused. There is so much misinformation out there.

    • Rose

Hi Elsa, I just buy my cheese in blocks and shred/grate them at home when needed for recipes, etc. to avoid any type of unnecessary fillers. I can’t speak on the amounts found in the packaged items.

Thanks so much H2S. This is so timely with school starting up, etc. Weeknight planning has been in the works for 2 weeks now in my household. I follow a keto lifestyle, I’m sneakily trying to get the rest of my family eating that way too! This is a tremendous help & will speed up my planning.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You are so welcome, Rose! It’s our pleasure! Good luck!

  8. Brenda Elliott

I am trying to cancel what you are sending me. My doctor did not want me to take these. You have billed me $79.91 twice. Your phone wont ring and your email website says it is a hazardous site.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! SO sorry for any confusion. What item did you purchase? We do not sell anything. Be sure to contact the company you made your purchase from. Hoping it is resolved for you real soon!
