These keto friendly crunchy air fryer fried pickles are LEGIT! They are SO CRUNCHY, satisfying, and simple to whip up using the air fryer. Wonder which secret ingredient makes them crunch? Pork rind crumbs! This is a smart low carb hack that makes breading both fantastic and keto compliant.

Hip Tip: A really important tip for getting these super crispy is to spray them before cooking with a little olive oil using an oil mister.

We just made two batches of these wonderful pickles!!! My husband doesn’t even know that they are actually healthy for him. They are extremely good. Need to come up with a keto friendly horseradish dip for them!

      Yay! Great news-thanks for sharing!

What do you use to grease the air fryer with?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I like to use coconut oil or olive oil in a hand held sprayer.

These look really yummy but I’m wondering about the quantity. Even with the XL models, it doesn’t seem like you can make that much of anything at a given time. Is it normal to have to make several batches when feeding a family of 5?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes, You will need to do a few batches when making multiple servings. You could heat your oven to 225-degrees to keep them warm as you cook the additional batches! Hoping that helps!

  7. Lola

So so yummy! And easy to make🙌🙌 I used hot pickles from Trader Joe’s and a spray coconut oil.
Thanks for sharing, I’m so happy!

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh yay and that sounds delicious 😋

  8. Amy

Such a good idea! Anyone have any ideas for making this dairy-free?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I would just replace the parm cheese by using more rinds!

  9. Robin

Would these work in a deep fryer?

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yes I believe so! Let us know how it works!

  10. Sharon

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)
