keto-friendly condiments at walmart

You can still enjoy condiments while sticking to your keto diet!

Whether you’re using them for cooking or dipping, these keto-friendly condiments are our favorite complement to any meal. While some are naturally keto and some are sugar-free adaptations of your favorites, we’re excited to share our low-carb favorites!

1. Mayonnaise

primal kitchen regular and chipotle lime avocado oil mayonnaise

Oh mayo, how we love you… Low in carbs and high in fats, creamy mayonnaise is perfect for the keto diet! We also love that the traditional oil is subbed with healthy avocado oil when you opt for the Primal Kitchen brand, and there’s even a chipotle flavor to spice things up! Mix it in with some sugar-free ketchup and you have a super yummy dipping sauce (also called “fry sauce” in some areas).

2. Mustard

great value dijon mustard

It’s a little tangy, a little spicy, and adds a whole lot of flavor no matter what you’re adding it to. You can opt for a stone-ground version for a little texture or a classic yellow when you have fussy eaters. Whatever you do, stay away from honey mustard, which contains sugars (or try this sugar-free honey mustard dipping sauce).

4. Coconut Aminos (Soy Sauce Alternative)

8. Ranch Dressing

tessemae pantry classic ranch dressing

You’ll have to be a little more diligent in checking labels for salad dressings since the nutritional value can vary – even for the same dressing types! As a rule of thumb, go with options that have a carb count of 2 carbs or less per serving.

Hip Tip: You can thin ranch slightly by adding a little less than 2 tablespoons of water for easier pouring and greater coverage.

9. Italian Vinaigrette

primal kitchen italian vinaigrette

Most of the time when the word vinaigrette comes around, it usually means there’s added sugar lurking in the ingredients. Luckily this bottle contains just the good stuff, so you can dress and savor your favorite foods without a sugar spike.

10. Marinara Sauce

11. Green Goddess Dressing

Healthy, flavorful, and adds pizazz to just about anything you pour this dressing over. It obviously works well on lettuce and vegetables, but try using this robust dressing with chicken or pork to add a punch of flavor to your protein.

We like: Primal Kitchen Green Goddess Dressing and Marinade

  • Serving: 2 Tbsp | Calories: 120 | Total Fat: 12g | Total Carbs: <1g (0g fiber, 0g sugar) | Protein: 0g

Marzetti Classic Ranch, sold in the refrigerator section, is only 1 carb. Not much of a difference than 2, but it tastes good. I will look for the bbq sauce as I thought it was off limits.

    • Lefrancois

I have tried the BBQ sauce and it’s tasty

  2. Deb

Be careful of the oils in these salad dressings. Many are Canola and Soybean oils.

  3. Tere

I thought you could not have soy sauce on keto diet?

    • Amber (Hip2Keto Sidekick)

Hi there! You will want to limit soy sauce to some degree since a tablespoon is roughly a carb. It’s a YMMV type of item.

    • Kimberly

Duke’s mayonnaise is soooo much better! Also, it’s so easy to make Hidden Valley Ranch’s Buttermilk Dressing at home with the envelope, Duke’s mayo and real full fat Buttermilk. Tastes so much better than all the bottle stuff and much lower in carbs. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Tere

I have been reading soy and soy products are a no no on keto, that is why I asked

  5. Susan

I believe that there is dextrose in the sugar free ketchups

  6. Danni

Always read ingredients, not just the nutritional values because they are misleading. Any vegetable oil in not healthy Keto. Make your own ranch dressing and mayo without all the added junk.

  7. Heather

Vegetable oils (canola, soybean, all seed oils) cause damage to arteries and chronic inflammation and should be avoided at all costs. YouTube video “the oiling of America” is extremely informative regarding these oils.
Eat real, whole foods and avoid anything processed!

  8. Liz

I came across your site on Pinterest. Always love a good Keto site for tips and tricks but this is more of a low carb site.
There are so many great options out there that are actually Keto. I encourage you to dig a bit deeper. Chosen foods and primal kitchen are a couple of our go to brands.
Keto On and good good luck on the journey to health and healing

  11. Susan

Thanks 🙏 for all the work y’all put into this site! I have had an islet cell transplant and have to watch my carbs. Keto makes it happen!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You are SO very welcome, Susan! ❤
