There’s nothing butter than Kerrygold!

The team at Hip2Save has a real love for butter, and contrary to popular belief, it’s actually GOOD for you! Our favorite grass-fed butter is Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter with its deep yellow color, creamy texture, and rich flavor. It’s simply amazing!

Check out this rave from Collin…

“It’s rich, creamy and delicious! Also Kerrygold only buys cream from cows never treated with antibiotics or growth hormones. Love that!”

However, as much as we love Kerrygold Butter, we’re not going to start eating it by the stick. Like all good things, be sure to eat butter in moderation. Consult with your healthcare professional to discuss what’s right for you.

I love Kerry Gold Butter, too! It’s getting SO HARD to find though! ALDI’s never has any, Walmart is sold out, Sam’s Club “can’t find it” when I ask where it is (shows it online, but not in the store). I’m back to regular butter and it’s just not the same. 🙁

Christine, I had a hard time finding Kerrygold at my local Sam’s store, even though the online shows it being sold there. One person said it was in the dairy case with all the other butter products or to check the aisle with the packaged deli meats and cheese. Nope. So one day I was wandering around and spotted a small case by the meat dept with specialty cheeses and bingo! I found the Kerrygold! They were out of the sticks, but I got the tub to try. And it is soo good.

Ohhh! Thank you!!! I never go down that aisle because I’m not a big cheese fan. I’ll definitely look this weekend. I miss it! Thanks again!!!

Hi, I am on my second day of serious KETO. I, too, love Kerrygold Irish Butter. When it melts in a pan, I see pretty, yellow oil, not oil with milk solids like regular butter. Kerrygold has a superior flavor, texture, purity I can appreciate. Right on, Kerrygold. My husband is not as um… discerning butter-wise, but me? I save Kerrygold for me because it’s so good tasting! And better for us!

Unfortunately, if you think Kerrygold is actually made from “Grass-fed”, you have been duped!

In a class-action lawsuit taken 3 years ago for misleading advertising, Kerrygold admitted in court that its butter was not Grass-fed and also admitted its herd was fed GMO supplements and grains.

The legal team for Kerrygold put forward a successful legal defence that “Grass-fed” was not legally defined or enforceable by the FDA therefore they could not and should not be punished.

The Federal judge had no option but to interpret the law (or lack thereof) and to agree with their argument based on current labelling laws. The judge dismissed the case in favor of Kerrygold and concluded that reasonable consumers would not interpret the “Grass-fed Cows” advertising claims to mean that the cows are fed only grass!

In other words, in the US, based on current labelling laws, “Grass-fed Cows” does not have to actually mean Grass-fed Cows!?! Read that again…

In Europe where there are very strict laws that govern the dairy industry, their label is lacking the “grass fed” in the black.

Though you may love it, just be aware that is not what you think it is.
