Marco’s Pizza Sells Keto Crustless Pizza Bowls, Meatball Bakes, & More!

Ever since Papa Murphy’s Pizza came out with their Crustless Keto Pizza, I’ve been a little jealous. Sadly, there’s no Papa Murphy’s in my part of Atlanta, so I had serious keto fast food envy… until now! Marco’s Pizza recently introduced Crustless Pizza Bowls, and friends, I am so here for it!
And just like the Papa Murphy’s crustless pizza, these pizza bowls are also technically pizza casseroles – but they are so delicious, and a great way to keep it keto on family pizza night!
If you’re not familiar with Marco’s Pizza, they have several locations scattered throughout the United States, especially in the midwest and southern states. Their traditional pizza is pretty yummy so these pizza bowls let you get that delicious pizza flavor without all the added carbs!

This is my favorite pizza bowl available from Marco’s! It has all of the meats that I would normally order on a pizza and is very filling. I typically make my own bowl last for four meals and add a side salad to fill me up.

If you love peppers and onions, this is the bowl for you! It reminds me of a sandwich that I’ve had before and is very flavorful with a kick.

If you’re taking a break from meat, then Marco’s has you covered with this garden crustless pizza bowl. My daughter loves to order this bowl with extra olives and mushrooms!
Hack these Marco’s Pizza Bowls to make them keto!
While 13g up to 17g of net carbs is pretty hefty, compared to traditional pizza, it’s still a great low-carb option. If you want to really bring the carbs down even lower, though, ask for it without the pizza sauce! I do this and get extra cheese instead and I really don’t miss the sauce.
By removing sauce from the bowl, you’ll shave off about 4-5g of sugar, and save about 6g carbs total, bringing your net carbs down to around 7-11g, which is pretty sweet if you ask me! On the garden bowl, you can also remove the onions to bring down the carb count, too.
Hip Tip: Marco’s has a pretty sweet nutritional breakdown and calculator on their site where it will adjust the macros based on the items you add or subtract to your entree. Please note that the keto bowls are not currently available on the calculator, but most of their keto menu items are including the Meatball Bake, Salads, and Wings.
But wait… there’s more!
Marco’s also has a Meatball Bake side item that I’ve been ordering long before they introduced their pizza bowls. It’s basically the same thing as a pizza bowl with no crust and consists of Meatballs, cheese, and sauce. Their meatballs have NO fillers (like breadcrumbs), so you can either ask for light sauce or no sauce to make it even more keto-friendly – and it is so yummy! 😋

*Ask for no sauce and it drops down to about 11g net carbs per serving, which is half the pan. I typically just eat 1/4 of the pan since the meal is so hearty which brings it down to about 5.5 carbs, have a small side salad, and it’s a delicious low carb meal.
